Municipality of Rhodes - Διδυμοποιήσεις

The City of Rhodes has twinned:

a) on the European level with the cities Conches, France, Majorca, Spain, Braunfel, Germany, Limassol, Cyprus, Visby (Gotland), Sweden, Roses, Spain, Valetta, Malta, Yalta, Crimea, Avila in Spain, and

b) on the International level with the cities of Perth, Australia, the State of Rhode Island, USA, the city of Greece in the USA, and the city of Puebla, Mexico.

The city of Rhodes was awarded the "Golden Star" Prize by the European Union for cities that have implemented successful and important activities within the twinning framework.

Furthermore, within the framework of the promotion of cooperation, the city of Rhodes has signed cooperation agreements with the city of Athens, the community of Olympos, Karpathos as well as the city of Mugla, Turkey.
