Rhodes to host European Blind Athletic Championship

Description:
The Sports Union for people with disabilities «Dodecanisos» was granted by International Blind Sports Association to host the European Blind Athletic Championship. In cooperation with the Hellenic Federation of Sports of people with disabilities and with support of the local authorities and the contribution of Paralympic Medalist Thanassis Mparakas, the European Championship will take place in Rhodes on June 2009, with the participation of over 500 athletes.
